Need Serious Help... Sct Killed My Car

My SCT tuner has killed my Mustang.
I was in the middle of flashing from 86-93 octane tunes and poof....
SCT screen went blank and car is DOA.... Now SCT Tuner wont boot.

I promise it is not my batter nor low voltage. I have checked both those...
Radio still works, power equipment is still powered and battery is fully charged.

I GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP!

fuses? I read on mustangforums about an issue similar to this and it was 1 or 2 blown fuses.

Check the obvious things like fuses then contact who sold you your tuner asap. Sorry, that's all I got for you now.

WOW!
I figured it out...
Had to hardware hack my SCT tuner...
Yes a fues was blown as well.
Basically my SCT tuner shorted out, the short caused a fuse to blow.

Dynopseed is overnighting my an Xcal 3 free of charge. Joe@dynospeed.com IS THE BEST. But I wonder what'll happen to the warranty since I had to open the XCAL2 up to get it to work. I hope they realize that their product litterally left me stranded.

Peace!

You'd be better off writing them an email or calling their customer serivce department--"hoping" isn't going to change anything.

I had the EXACT same thing happen this Saturday. I called Jay at JLT who then said to call SCT. I got a return authorization number from SCT and they are going to either fix it or replace it. I would try to plug it back in but I do not want the thing to short out in the middle of a download or an upload. Just like Cavero it scared the HELL out of me.

No, with me it the SCT died about 1 second after plugging it in. I did not have a chance to do anything. The SCT died and the gauge cluster died.

Just last week it happened about 60% through downloading the tune. After I replaced the fuse, I had to reinstall the tune for the car to start
