Need pic of GT Cloth interior
My dealer has an order book with cloth samples from the GT and V6 in the medium parchment and light graphite gray, but not in the dark charcoal. If you have any questions, stopping by the dealer might help. The pictures I've seen are misleading, especially on color tones.
I'd really like to see a recent good pic of the the dark charcoal cloth if anybody has one.

No problem .I am also thinking of the charcoal interior with the cloth seats so I tried to find as many as I could from this site ....If it wasn't for everyone throwing in pictures in this site I would no way be as well informed as I am right now.
as well here's another pic .
After all these years,
My C/T still sucks!

Its not that I Can't afford leather, its that I live in Alabama. I don't like leather in swamp heat. My mom has it in her jeep, and its sheer torture to peel yourself off it in the summer.

Yeah, I don't think I like it as much now either. I originally thought it would have the one Pony on it. That looked much better. Maybe I will upgrade to the leather.

I can't stand the solor-heated plastic-coated leather & vinyl seat covers either. My dealer says to go with the leather, but I don't think it will hold up as well for the long term. I think leather looks classier, but
I too can live easier with the cloth in the Memphis heat. There is always the option of having custom seat covers made for the front and rear seats later.
If you haven't seen the cloth interior in person, the pics tend to make the "Mustang" and " running horses" stand out more than they really do, especially with the angle shots of the interior. The pics make the fabric look almost two-toned, but it really isn't. It is just the light reflecting from the impressions in the material.

I'm the same way April, I can afford the leather but our temperature extreems can be from -40+(-60 with wind) in the winter and over 100+ in the summer .
(these are high and low end extreems but it can happen). It just with the cloth seats they are easy to care for and require less TLC than leather would .I have dark charcoal in cloth in the interior of one of my trucks ,just a quick clean and vac the odd time and it looks great .

April, send that swamp heat up north would ya? Pleaseeeee! :worship: We had frost last night here in Nova Scotia, Canada! Ge it's only Sept. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
The 2005 "fabric" upholstery looks like the same light-weight / cheezy material that came in my '04 V6 (all '99-04 V6/GT as far as I can tell). It reminds me of the cheap seat covers you can get at a discount store !! They have at least improved the seat contours (and hopefully comfort) on the 2005. Not only were my '04 V6 fabric seats cheap-looking, they were very uncomfortable and un-supportive (compared to the cloth seats that were in my previous '94 & 98 V6 cars). I aliviated this problem by ordering a Front & Rear set of 2004 Cobra Leather seats from Ford Motorsport. Don't know if these are still available (Dark Charcoal only), but they are very comfortable and a very worthwhile investment.
The '94-98 GT's had some very nice and heavy-duty burlap-type upholstery as did my '98 V6. A freind of mine bought a base model 2004 2WD Ranger (XLT I think) and it has some very nice heavy duty cloth upholtery. Why can't Ford use material similar to this in the Mustang ??
