I have an 05 GT manual, and was wondering if anyone is aware of any aftermarket complete shifter units for sale, or anything that would replace the shifting mechanism for something smoother and more fluid feeling? I don't know if its just my Mustang or all '05 stick shift GTs, but it feels very harsh and awkward to shift between gears. A mechanic that once was working on my car said that he thinks there should be "tranny mounts" available for $50-$100, but I have yet to come across these anywhere online. Any help on shifters, tranny mounts, or anything else relative, would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have the Hurst BUT it won't give you smoother shifts just shorter and more precise.
