just my opinion, but you probably should have gone with one of the sponsors on this site because they include 3 custom tunes as well.

Great price though, you should be pretty happy with results.

I agree with everyone else. I would have (and did actually) bought from doug or brent. The JLT is only $50 more, but you get 3 kick hiney tunes that come with it, not to mention great customer service.

Speaking of the JLT/xcal2; did that ship out yet doug?

Justin I hope your happy with the kit you got.

Please let us know your impressions when you install it.
The dealer you bought it from is new and I would like your feedback.

I have the original JLT pipe w/insert with the diablo tuner. If I was to do it over again I would definitly go with SCT from the dealers on this site because you don't have to go anywhere for the customer service. Brent, Doug, Jay etc. come to you via this site.

As for the JLT Xcal2 being $50 cheaper..........Did you get it painted to match? That might be the diff in cost right there.

BTW Good choice

Sorry, I meant the JLT/tuner package was $50 more than what the author of this thread paid. FWIW, I did pay extra to get it painted though.

Jay, you said it shipped out, but I ordered it through Doug. Did you just misread that? I can't wait to get it either way.

He saved $50 but has to most likely pay shipping and worry about customer service from someone on EBAY!

Hopefully all will be well, and your car will run like a champ.

ok people ,sorry for the delay ,the cai is beutifull ,Jay you did a great job ,the fit and finish was perfect !!!the xcal2 seems to be easy enough to use but i think i have problems with the tune !i need help ! :bang: yeh i know ,i should have got it from doug ,but i will not make that mistake again .the 4 digit code on my comp. is cdc2 and the tuner has it wrote down as cdc3 , i am not sure but will this make a difference on how he wrote the tune , also he was supposed to make a correction for my tire size but i checked the speedo with a gps today and it is still off  i did notice a slight change in performance ,and a slight increase in throttle response ,it is not throwing any codes but how can i be sure the tune is safe or efficient ? also i didnot get a cable with the xcal2 to link it to the pc should it have came one ?sorry for the long post but i am very confused and would like to sort this out .i will be getting a tune from doug as soon as i learn a little bit more on what and how to work this thing ,in the meentime i would appreciate some advice , thank you !!

General question about the Xcal2 (which I will soon be purchasing). How do you sync it with your pc if no USB cable comes with it? Serial cable?

Depends on who you buy it from. The actual XCal2 product does not include a USB cable, but some sponsors on here include one when you buy it from them. No biggie - you can get one for like $5 from Radio Shack.
