I lightened up the "blue" setting a little. I've tried several colors, including purple, red, green, orange, over the last year and a half. I might change the color tonight, now that you've got me thinking about it again. I like this page "http://home.surfree.com/~pauld/mustang.htm" also, so I can pick the color I want to try and just go right to it.

I currently have it set on Green. It matches the entire interior lighting.
If it's not set on green, blue is my second choice.

While we're on a related topic, for the first time since owning my car, I ran my fuel down to less than 10 miles to empty today, and YES the fuel gauge does turn RED! Pretty neat IMO.

Hmm, the other day I ran my fuel down to about 30 miles and it didn't turn red. I guess it only happens with less than 10 miles to empty. I will try it next time.

I'm into the blues for my nightime driving pleasure.

Mine is usually blue but when I get tired of it I go back to the kinda muted green like all my old cars before had. If I had the option to have the white I'd probably use that more often.

Sucking all the crap off the bottom of your tank and into your fuel pump is not a good idea... my work car (CVPI) needed a new fuel pump at 13k miles because situations dictated that I **** near ran the car out of gas one day on patrol... Next day... car was running crappy and had no power when you romped on it once it was warm. Service guy said that the pump was full of crap from the bottom of the tank. BTW... 13K miles was less than 3 months old.

I posted the same chart about 6 months ago and asked that it be made a sticky, but no such luck. I think it's a great reference chart.

I used to run with the same blue that most seem to like. But about a week and a half ago I came outside during a nice forida sunset and saw the purpleish hue in the tungsten that I have seen so many times before. Now my guages are purple.
