Took my stock 06 GT out to the track for the first time tonight. This was not my best time of the night but it was my best kill. Check out the nearly identical reaction times. He was coming on strong in the top end but I don't think the guys shifting was very good. We're at 2200' above sea level so corrected for sea level my time worked out to a 14.20 at 100.39 mph. My best time was a 14.43 at 97.43 (sea level corrected 14.069 at 100.05 mph. My first run was pathetic! I left the line at 3500 rpm spun like mad then violent wheel hop hit second and kept spinning and ran a 16.17 at 95 mph.Yuck!! But my times got consistently better. Found the best launch technique was to come out of the hole soft at 2500 rpm feathering the clutch a little and not going full throttle til I was well under way. You sure don't get wheel hop like that on the street.My wife took lots of video and pics.

Nice, have you done any suspension upgrades to get rid of wheel hop? My panhard bar,brace and relocation brakets are on there way. Next is lower and upper control arms.
