My mod list-including more boost for the Whipple

The big news is I decided to add the intercooler and add more boost to my Whipple. My MGW shifter just came in today while I was on the phone ordering my FRPP/Whipple Big Boost Kit. Ford Racing Performance Parts [M-9066-M11*]
1)Trufiber GT-S hood -on the car goes in for paint March 19
2)CDC Classic front spoiler-sitting in my basement
3)MGW Shifter-just received
4)Autolite HT0's-sitting in my garage waiting for me to install
5)Prothane motor mounts-sitting in my garage waiting for me to install
6)CHE k-member w/torque limiters-Done
7)CHE/Powerhouse driveshaft and safety loop-sitting in my basement
8)Dyno tune-will be done in late April(hopefully)
9)relocate IAT sensor to boost side of intake-Done
10) FRPP/Whipple Big Boost upgrade kit-on order
11)Power coat the cam covers
12)Thumper RRR Racing belt tension-sitting in my garage waiting for me to install
Those goodies should enhance the looks and performance.
My goal is to get into the 11's in the 1/4 mile(2300 ft above sea level).
Should be do able.

Sounds like your rubbing it in a bit. I am jealous that I can't afford those mods! Should be awesome!

Nice list..... you could consider some kind of header since you're going to change the motor mounts- easy to do it while you're under there.

I used up my budget(and then some). I'll do the headers in a couple of years when I do a built short block.

Gauges? Gauges? We don't need no stinking gauges!! I have a hard enough time keeping my eyes on the road, tach and speedo. That's why you get a good dyno tune.

You may not need them but they are super useful

Yeah it was a toss up between gauges or a one piece drive shaft and loop. The DS won this time out. I'm sure some gauges will be in the next round along with 4.10 gears. But that won't be until next spring.

Not with the M/T 295/45-17's bolted on. There's a few guys running Whipples with 4.10's. Might go 3.90's. Lots of time to figure it out. I'm pretty excited about getting her on the road this spring. I booked my dyno tune for Apr 21.

Drag radials-ET Street. Last year I was launching at 4500 at the track and getting very little spin. My tune was crap and my car didn't start to pull hard until it was at 3500 rpm. I'd leave good then she'd fall on her face. Oh well, the track opens May 4th so we'll see then how the extra torque effects her. Except usually the first night sucks because the track prep is not so good.(not enough fresh rubber and VHT).
