My Car Too Quiet!!!!!
Flowmasters sound noticably louder than stock. They have a deep tone like an old musclecar. With more airflow mods the flowmasters get louder and louder. First I had just Flows, then I put a C&l Racer on, and that increased the sound. Finally I put cmdp's,3:73's and udp's on and it made it even louder, and it sounds better. Imagine the sound when I get ARH LT's and Catted H-Pipe.
The Flows with your X-Pipe will sound something like this:Exhaust Sound Clip & Video Player - MustangExhaust.com Forums
I have the Flows and Pypes OR H its D**N Loud!
Here are some sound files you can check out.

Hey Rich,
I know you are California but are you willing to go off road with those GTA's??? Here's a sound clip of my car on Brenspeeds dyno on May 5th. Without the cats those GTA's are plenty loud and still they have NO DRONE!!!
Don't forget to turn up your sound!! I also need to add that I am running a Mac Prochamber instead of the stock H pipe.

I guess the only way to tell how you like the sound of your car is to let someone drive it and stand on the curb and listen as they pull away etc. I went out alittle while ago to go to the store and ran into a friend of mine. I let him drive my car up the street and then back again and I have to say that the car sounded better then I thought. You can't always tell what the heck it sounds like sitting in the drivers seat.
The good news is I am now satisified with how it sounds and I just saved some money!
Your car sounds great Scott and thanks for the vid!

I've been thinking about going with GTA's myself. My current setup with longtubes, a catted H and stingers sounds really badazz, but the drone is killing me, can't even hold a conversation in the car.
Rich: I've had the Flowmaster ATs on for 7 months now, and love em. Low rumble in normal driving conditions and turns heads when you open up the throttle... with minimal drone. By the way, yesterday I installed my new C&L Street CAI which woke up the Flows even more. The increased airflow (550cfm stock CAI vs 1003cfm C&L CAI) not only is evident in torque, but the Flows now sound louder in all driving condtions (even at idle).

Been there with the Borla's.
The GTA's are the best compromise for me. Mean sounding when I want them to be and quiet when I want them to be. They are the best of both worlds. And for $260 shipped from Ninosports if may be worth the experiment. Scott
Rich, I say you stay right where you're at.
Your car has a great balance of looks, sound, and performance so if you ofset the scale at all, you'll quickly catch another case of the mod bug!
Besides, you're probably just losing some more of your hearing...hahahaha

I have decided to keep what I have. It sounded pretty good when my friend took it down the street.
I just need to get a set of those electronic cutouts like Don has!
