So I've been doing research on these cams and I love that nasty sound they produce. But as I was reading today some people were saying they buck at low speeds. I have 3.73s with a 5 speed also. If this cams low rpm is really rough then what can would you guys recommend? I'm really just wanting the loudest lopey sound I can get without losing streetability.

The ***** Thumprs have a very good sound. I drove my friends 2005 5MT wirh 3.73s and had no issues at all with it stalling or bucking. He did say he had some issues before getting the 3.73s though.
No. I had them in my personal 05' auto. The biggest thing to make sure your cams dont buck is a good tune, alot of "tooners" add alot of throttle response down low off idle and with these cams and FRPP it can make it harder to control. I was one of the cars comp cams used to develop these cams with and I developed the right tune to go along with them.
Thanks, Doug
I've had ***** Tumpr cams for years. When I first installed them the car would buck really bad at low RPM(under 2,000). I had 4.10 gears installed just before the cams and it didn't seem to help. I changed my driving style and kept the RPM up and didn't have majot issues. Last year I made some changes to the car that required revisions in my email tune. Since then I haven't had the same issues. I can usually cruise around 1,500-1,600 RPM without bucking. Anything below that though and she'll start to buck. I'm pretty sure a dyno tune would help me out even more.
Hey I know this thread is years old but Im thinking to purchase these cams with 3:73 gears and a tune, will I also need a 3000 stall converter or will my car run good without it anyway? My stang is a 2006 GT auto trans, and I daily it, just want to make sure itll run nicely.
