I have a Neon. Its on tranquilizers.
stock 4 cyl single overhead cam leaks oil all over the place from the head gasket.
It really has been reliable for 150k though.
Goes 0-60 in about 5.1 minutes

lol Yea thats pretty fast, , heck 150000 you got your best out of it, and i would have to agree its been a good one for you, , you know I dont think its ever been a problem with hp, or engines with dodge, more drive train, , like transmissions, man several of my friends have gone crazy over that issue with dodge you know, strong engines , less drivetrain,

I've only ever owned one Dodge/Chrysler product, we had a 99 Plymouth Breeze. HORRIBLE car. MAJOR engine issues. So - I told the wife, pick something, anything, just not another thing from them. She got an Xterra. She loves it..............to each their own!

I going from the Neon as my daily driver to a GT. Can't wait to notice the difference.

Yeah, sad story Stallion. I had a situation with a little honda hatchback. You know the type. Primered, gutted out, no windows, turbo charged for 210 Hp (supposedly). He saw my car at a party and asked if I wanted to run. He said he had no clue if he would win but brought up how much mine weighs compared to his."It's all about HP to weight ratio" he says. And he got me when he brought up how much the GT costs compared to his hatch.
So I got in the Stang and said lets ride! He was driving like a idiot through the residential on our way out to some back roads. I knew I was the better driver.
Well, we get out to a stop light and he starts reving up to about 4500. Car smoking and stinking the whole time. I just sat waiting for the light.
Light turned green and it was on. He got a nice jump, but could not hang with the Stang. I pulled on him like nothing. I only took her to about 5000 and I still took him. I'll normally back off when I know I have him. So I do and he keeps going like he got me. So I catch him at the next light and he says that he got a bad start.
I decided to give him one more chance. But this time I wanted to teach him a lesson.
I took off TC and got to about 2750 and dropped the clutch.
Let out quite a screech and ripped on him. Took her to 6000 and by third he was about 100 yards back. I slowed down and turned on the hazards and gave him a cheesy grin as he came back up to me.
That is my import slaying story.
