While I was buying the 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords saw the Enthusiast and bought it too. Their article isn't as in depth as the 5.0 but they have a decent article on the Steeda Mustang.
ME also mentions the HC Trap and seem to think it is worth yanking. They praise the SCT tune for crisping up the throttle and raising the rev limits.
In their story HP jumped by 20 with the HC trap missing, 93 Octane gas, and the SCT tune.
SCT is getting some good press by having the first tuner out, that's for sure.
