Mustang 05-14 Air Lift Performance Complete Digital Air Suspension Kit Install Video

Air Lift Performance 95723 Mustang Digital Air Kit 2005-2014

Today we have Jeremy from Air Lift Performance to help us install their complete digital air suspension kit on a 2013 GT500. This kit will fit all 05-14 Mustangs. Air Lift's kit allows you to drop the ride height over 4 inches from the original stock height for a killer parked stance. With the simple push of a button, you can raise it back up and into your desired ride height for cruising, a road course, or even the drag strip. The system has 8 programable pre-sets so you can have the perfect height for any application.

Installation is pretty straight forward, but time consuming depending on how well you want to hide the hoses and wires for the system. On average it can be done in about 8 hours, but give yourself a good weekend to complete the installation.

Installed this system is awesome. The car drops in seconds and raises just as fast. The controller is simple and easy to use and will help you set the exact height you want. A great feature is when your car is lowered for a show, when you turn the key it will automatically rise to drive height. If you are looking for a great and simple air suspension system for your Mustang, than check out this great kit from Air Lift.

Love my Air Lift Performance Suspension!

Love my Air Lift Performance Digital Air kit (95723)! In addition to the kit I added a second VIAIR compressor with harness and three water traps. The two compressors with isolator kits, tank (elected to go with a smaller tank) and manifold where installed in the truck tire well. Installation is very easy just a little time consuming. For the rear air bags it is necessary to drill a pair of holes for each bag, one for the air line and the other to secure the bag.

The money shots “Aired out”.

Trunk install. When this picture was taken I only had one isolator kit on the right side.

With the carpet down you do not even know it is there.

The kit allows for eight pre-set ride heights with a wired controller. Once you have set your "standard" ride height you have an alignment done at that setting.

I have a trunk mounted battery so I ran the passenger side ¼” air line through the cabin under the carpet attached to a battery cable. The driver’s side was attached to an OEM wire bundle.

question on airlift

I hope this gets to you as I am trying to install an air system in my spare tire area and bought the kit but the tank it came with is too big to fit and I have a convertible so the install is not the same as coupes. I was wondering where you found that tank and or is there something I should look for. What size is the tank? Thanks and good job looks great.

Thanks, I used a polished 2.5 gallon tank from Air Lift, part number 12958. I am not sure if there are any specific challenges on a convertible, but I do not think so. Good luck with your install and I am looking forward to your installed pictures.

Great Patrick! Have you posted installed pictures of your car?

Put some new wheels and tires on my car for this spring and I could not resist posting a pic to show off the Air Lift suspension aired-out. Vossen CV3-R wheels in gloss graphite. 20 x 9 front with Nitto Invo 245/40ZR20 and 20 x 10.5 rear with Nitto Invo 315/35ZR20.
