muffler-tune question

Quick question:
I'm running w/ JLT-2 and Bama 93 octane torque tune on my 2005 GT. I'm finally getting some SLP Loudmouths to put on. Will the increased airflow (with the new mufflers) require a change to my tune?

Thanks

No, I highly doubt it, but it doesn't take more than a minute to email your tuner, or email someone like Bamachips and ask if it has any effect. I think the only think that has enough of an airflow effect is LT headers. Axlebacks dont have much of an effect on airflow.

Definitely check with your tuner as in most cases they do have to make an adjustment. You will find that when you order tunes, in most cases, they always ask what mufflers you have.

you will NOT have to retune for mufflers

there will be no gain with only an axle back swap.

you don't need a tune for mufflers but you DEFINATELY need to upgrade your muffler bearings to handle the increased airflow

If they are too expensive, maybe we can all get in on a group buy

We only have the powdercoated green in stock.

I can do $35 dollars a piece if we get over 5 people in on this.
