Hey Kelly,

The X I recieved looked as if someone at Ford Racing was rushing to get out the door for the day while welding it. It wasn't even and when I laid it on a flat surface you could "rock" it like a table or chair that didn't have all four legs even. When it was mounted it just never sat correctly. I thought about welding it in place but at the time I had a good offer from Steeda on the catted Magnaflow so I just went with that.

I would like to hear what the MagnaPaks sound like with both the Catted MRT H and the Catted Magnaflow X? I want to see what the difference in sound would be...

+1. As well as if the MRT H made it any louder.

That sounds pretty good! I like it. How was the install?

Did you add the H after your axle backs? If so, how would you describe the tone change?

EXCELLENT man - thanks!

I really think that's what I am after......

That's your bud in the Cobalt S/C? Love the whine when he comes after you - have you played around with that thing? How does he match up against the GT?

I actually had MRT install the H-pipe as I am local and I had some gift certificates to use. the alxebacks when on pretty easily though.
I did the H after the axlebacks, maybe 2 notches deeper sound and 1 louder.

That is my buddies Cobalt SS/SC.
he has GMPP stage 2, gmpp header, hurst shifter, and exhaust.

I have catted h, axleback, hurst shifter, intake & 93 tune.
we are pretty even from a roll, slight advantage to me. we have not gone from a dig but I think I got him from a dig. those thinks are pretty quick little buggers.
I should be able to get him all around once i get my gears installed.

Thank you! So you could definitely tell a difference?

I REALLY like the sound!!! I am just wondering how loud it would be with Magnapaks? I definately can't and don't want something obnoxiously loud, so what do you think it would be like?

Cool cool. We will have to figure something out and a good place. I am looking to see if I can get my car dyno'd somewhere. You know any good places down here. Diablo sport? Just want to get a couple pulls.
