For some reason, a lot of people get whine with the motives....maybe they're harder to properly install?
BTW - Wappingers Falls is upstate??

I have Motive 4.10s. Very slight whine when under de-acceleration. Definitely acceptable given the improved performance!

I have 4.10 Motive gears, Installed them myself. I do not have any noise issues with them. Very slight wine. (have to listen for them on a smooth road, no radio, not on the gas etc. and I can just hear them) They are probably 2% louder than the stock 3.31's. I could just hear them also.

The preformance gain is great and well worth the $ spent.

I have motive 4.30s, installed them myself... the install kit is crap, but the gears are some of the best machined I have ever seen. Very slight decel whine, but not noticible unless you are straining to try to hear it. performance is excellent.

I've got the 4.10 motives as well. No one but me notices the noise. Everytime I ask a passenger if they hear that whining, they look at me like I'm crazy.
