more octane - diy tune update?
A local gas station now sells 93 octane fuel. Previously I'd have to drive $25 to get it, so I stuck to 91. Anyways, the X-cal tuner gives me the option to adjust the spark timing for 0-2000, 2000-4000, and 4000+ rpm. Is that all that has to be adjusted to take advantage of 93?

(5) feel your wallet $25 lighter

Assuming that a 91 octane tune is currently loaded in your car's computer, your tuner does not have a 93 octane tune, and your tuner does not have a 'Global Timing' option which adjusts the timing across the entire rpm range, then advance the timing by one degree in all 3 rpm ranges if you use 93 octane fuel.
If you notice any pinging, then retard the timing by one degree in the rpm range where the pinging occurs.
