Do you mean OC..D? Best first mod is a cold air intake and tune.. look at the JLT2 CAI or C&L CAI and a tune with an Xcal2 seems to be the most popular.. do a search for those and you'll find an excessive amount of information on them.

It will cost you about $600 for both and get you about 25-30HP.

Tunable induction has a CAI (painted black) with an X2 for $499.00 shipped. Thats what I had gotten. Installation was simple and have had no issues with the tunes. The only thing I regret is that I didn't spend the extra $20.00 to get a custom color painted one instead

Are you talkin' to me?

Normal mods are intake, tune, and exhaust. Throw some gears in that combo and you should be pleased.

+1 Without a doubt, the best thing you can do for HP gain on a budget. You will need a trowel to scrape the smile off of your face after your first test drive...

Go to the 05-07GT section and scroll down.

If you are considering getting another tune program, say from Brenspeed for example, you are better off just buying it from him. Once you factor in the extra cost of purchasing his tunes sepparately. JMO

tune question

do all cai / tunes mean going to premium fuel or is there a regular gas option (and then is it worth it?) ?

Yes, regular gas is an option, and yes it's worth it.

I agree with the regular gas option as well. It's good to have just in case. You won't see much, if any, perfomance gain. But its good to have so you won't have to switch back to the stock air box in case you can't find any quality premium fuel.
