Modular Powerhouse Tunes a Blown '05

Finally, the gang down at MPH has some numbers for the '05's. If you aren't familiar with them, they have an excellent rep for tuning our mod motors. These numbers are freakin' amazing and scary high for the stock assembly, but Tim is confident it is safe (FWIW word on the street is that they have never lost a motor with one of their blower tunes--one heck of a track record).

Good post. I remember when the cobra killer kits were all the rage on the message boards. Nice to see that there developing something for the newer model! I really hope the 05 can handle that power level with moderate use. Time will tell...

My brother used them for his 2000 Mustang GT (new engine, vortech, new diff, new tranny) and his car is a beast now. 500 to the wheels on the "safe" tune, 550 or so on the aggressive tune (ran out of injector).
They know their stuff and don't do anything half-tailed. There is a reason why people ship their cars to him from all over the country.
