Mods are Complete - New Dyno Videos
I had completed all of my modifiications and tuning on my car a few weeks ago, but I am just now getting the chance to add some of the videos from the dyno to my website. I added 8 new videos from various runs on the dyno while we were doing the tuning.
In several of the videos, we had the automatic locked into 4th gear, running it upto, and sometimes past it's redline, which is around 140 MPH. This was a very good opportunity to get some good recordings of how a properly tuned 3-Valve 4.6L with the Flowmasters and C&L Intake sounds under a real load, instead of just revving the engine in nuetral/park with no load.
I let my tuner do most of the pulls at first, so he could monitor his laptop that was hooked up to my SCT Tuner. I stood about 15-20 feet behind the car during a few of the runs, and it sounded amazing. You could feel the concrete beneath your feet vibrate and the bass of the exhaust hitting you was pretty impressive. Unfortunately, the videos are probably not even 1/10 of the experience of actually being there, but they still give a good idea of how the car sounds.
When I ran the car in stock form, my best run was 261 HP and 265 Torque at the wheels. Modified, the best run was 291 HP and 296 Torque, so I picked up 30 RWHP & 31 RW Torque, not to mention how the SCT Tuner transforms the manner of the automatic transmission. I am very pleased with how the car is set-up now, which is a good accomplishment since the new Mustangs are pretty impressive right out of the factory.
My Performance Modifications are.....
C&L Performance Trueflow Cold Air Intake System, Flowmaster "American Thunder" Aft-Axle Exhaust, JET Powr-Flo Throttle Body Spacer, Steeda Underdrive Pulleys, and some Custom Tuning using an SCT X-Calibrator 2.

Excellent power with so few mods especially from an auto! You must be a multimedia technical guru, nice presentation on your web page with the videos. Don't stop now, she has another 50hp in her easy with a few bolt-ons, custom tuning.

Another 50 hp would be nice, but it will be a while before I can really afford to do anything else. Maybe in another year or two I'll do a second round of mods.
Thanks for the comments!

I forgot to mention in my original post that in a lot of the clips, you can hear an annoying metal vibrating sound here and there. The sound is coming from the Air/Fuel Ratio instrument that they stick into the exhaust pipe. The guy at the shop didn't want to tighten the clamp too much because he didn't want to scratch the exhaust tip, so we ended up with some extra rattle from time to time with it being a bit loose.

Hi KWMJ-KTP
Enjoy your site,
Wonder if you are going to add Mid-Life Crisis to the commercials. I have tried to find it on the net but no luck so far.
Thanks
