You'll love em Jose
They are great.

If you're not used to the volume and think its too loud in the beginning...
After about 5 minutes of drivin' it...you'll change your mind

Thanks..... That was a really healthy 1-->2 shift. Didn't powershift though. Regular shift, just very quickly.

Before that with steve in the car I barked the 1-->2 really hard and even barked 2-->3

So, both of you only had the axle backs? I know the cat back adds the mandrel bent tubing, would that make it louder or not really have an additional affect?

Stock exhaust is also 2.5" mandrel bent stainless.....
...
The only difference is its T-304 Stainless (better) and it probably has a couple MINOR bends taken out....

An email I got from Kahdir which stated that 99% of the gains were through the mufflers anyway....

..hence why I went axleback only.

Changes looks, sound, and most of the gains are through the mufflers.

Thanks Boomer! That's what I kind of figured, but wanted to ask to make sure I was on the right track. Most every place that I have seen that sells Borla is only offering the Cat-back design instead of the axle-back, so I just wanted to know what the big difference was.

true, but isn't there alot of heat transfer off the stock cats that can be eliminated with replacement cats, as well as they are lighter?

Way to dig up an old thread.

Are you talking about the difference between the axleback and the catback?
Cause if you are, then what you said makes no difference...catback does not replace the cats. I was talking about the added price vs reason on the cat/axleback.

Good Luck,
See my thread about " Where's the Borla kits" Doesn't seem to be any of them around until about 4 /6 weeks.
