Question Mods for $1500?

Im going to be able to spend an extra $1500 here in the next month or so on some more modifications and was wanting some suggestions as to what some of your combos are that make great power for bolt ons. I already have a magnaflow o/r X pipe and magnaflow axleback. Was thinking of possibly doing a C&L kit with a tune, gears, underdrive pullies, BBK throttle body and possibly headers. What kind of power are any of you with similar mods making? Thanks!

In my experience, an intake and a good tune will yeild you significant gains. I didn't get a chance to dyno my car, but the SOTP difference with a 93 tune and C&L are like night and day.

From reading the boards, a throttle body is a waste of money.

So my order of things to get:
1. C&L Intake and SCT tuner from Bamachips
2. Pulleys
3. Headers
4. Axleback mufflers (if you have $$ left over)

If you are on a tight budget, axlebacks are more for sound than anything else. If you want to maximize you're investment, shop around for used goodies on the forums.

He said he has the magnaflow axlebacks Steve. Other than that that list sounds good according to most of the other members around here.

Unless you get some really cheap headers, keeping this list under $1500 will be tough. Personally, I go with a CAI+Bamachips tune and 4.10 gears first. If there is still money, then UDPs.

Correct, but I was just trying to show just how much you can get for around $1,500 with relatively cheap parts.
