Does anyone know if you can modify the parameters within the DTP tune?
I wanted to raise the auto shift points, and remove speed limiter.
The predator said the changed parameters will take effect when the tune is installed. Do I have to re-install the DTP tune?

Thanks

I do not know dip about the DTP tune.
You made the mods to the tune so you have to put it back in with the changes. No problem.
A tip on changing shift points. If you over rev your Max torque output RPM you are wasting time because you could be going faster in the next highest gear. Example the DYNO shows your torque peak at 5700 rpm and you raise the shift point to 6000 rpm you are wasting time between 5700 and 6000. I have an 05 auto also and it was shifting at 6000 petal to the metal WOT with factory setings. I lowered it to 5700 and went faster.
I document what changes step by step I do on paper. in case I have to call the predator people to get me out of something I screwed up.

No matter what changes you make to the tunes its easy as setting everything back to 0. There is no problem with going back to the basic norm.

Alan - yes you can modify the DTP tune. I adjusted my WOT fuel. Just amke sure you save a copy of the origianl tune on your computer. Worst case, like they said you can alway reset everything back to 0 if you mess up.
