Jay, it's electric as opposed to being belt driven. That's how it free's up parisitic power loss. I haven't seen it yet, so I'm not sure exactly how it mounts.

Vegasjay, i believe thats how those work. Im waiting for one to come out for the 4.0, unlike you, i COULD use another 10-15rwhp :P Wanna throw a few c.i.d.'s my way without my insurance increasing?

EDIT: In case you were curious, it hit 112 here in ahwatukee (phoenix) where i live.
How about a Procharger,K-B,or Vortech? For the total money you are spending for a few hp($ add up quick) you could have 150 hp more at the wheels.

From what I have read on both of the units, it mates directly to the factory mount. Also, one of them includes a belt tensioner so that you can retain the factory belt as well.

Thank's guy's! I'm going to look into geting one. I see that Livernois has them for about 230 dollars. That's cheap insurance in this scorching desert in which I live... :bang: I'm also going to go to a 70/30 coolant mix with a good additive.

I'd go with that then, the Be Cool radiator lists for $700.00

AMP down here will sell me the "worlds best radiator" for just under 600. I just installed one on a 97 cobra, that thing is HUGE. It lists for $719.

I'll start with the water pump, and go from there. Maybe by then more companies will have radiators out,and there will be more options. If the water pump pick's up a few more horse and help's to cool her more efficiantly, then it's win-win. It's acting good in the heat, but time and the dyno will tell. I'm glad you brought it up!

Here's another source for the pump Jay. Not nearly as expensive as the Livernois one, but I'll post just for the source and comparison. http://www.modularmustangracing.com/
Just make sure you're getting a 55gpm pump and it works with either the stock belt or has a specification for the correct size belt. I believe the pump from MMR has a pulley that acomodates the stock belt.

Thank's for the link David, but if I'm not mistaken the MMR pump is $370 and the Livernois pump is $230... I may be look'n at at it wrong though. I wonder what brand the pump from MMR is?

That's why I was saying to make sure it's 55gpm and that their pump has an application for the 2005.

On Livernois's website they say it's a 55 GPM pump. I will have to call them tommorow and check the application. Thank's for the help David.

there's something to say about running N/A what you'll be running with a blower. It's like a natural body builder who bust's his rear to get so big competing next to a guy that has been working out for a year on steroids. With steroids comes potential illness, tempermental, and destroying organs. I don't have a problem with blowers, there's just too much uncertainty right now for me. When I attain my goal N/A, I may go to a blower. For now, bolt on's for me.
