Mixing Brand Names when Modding good/bad?
A couple weeks ago, I just installed Roush Extreme Performance Exhaust to my Mustang and now I'm looking at Cold Air Intakes. Roush has what appears to be a good CAI, but I'm checking out some fo these others like Steeda, C&L, etc that I kind of like. Already planned on going with Diablo tuner. Is there any advantages or disadvantages to mixing and matching the companies for mods?
Mix away, unless you plan on building a Roush (or whatever) clone.
A good recent example of mixed parts would be the Lingenfelter Camaro in C&D I beleive. It used hotchkiss springs with stock dampers and the ride suffered as a result on rough roads making the F5 (which should have had the advantage with its IRS) unstable.

as stated above I wouldn't mix swaybars. Click my sig for some intake info. JLT here the cl gets a hp or two more but costs a little more.
