Mileage
MY 05 GT/stick usually gets 20-22 also (mixed highway/city) . . . . I live in California now . . . . .. I don't think my mileage was much worse in winter (when I lived in Michigan) . . .. . MAYBE down to 19-21 . . .. . but I don't think it was 14 . . .. .. .are you doing donuts in the parking lot???

No clue on the GT as I really don't drive her enough to get a honest read on mpg.

All things suggested so far are true. It's pretty normal to lose some mileage during the winter months. One of the big culprits is letting your car warm up. That burns fuel that isn't used on anything.
Not only that, it's not really good for the engine either. Your engine should be brought to normal operating temperatures as quickly as possible to avoid carbon deposits which in time could create an octane tolerance.
Keeping your vehicle clean and free of snow/ice buildup on moving parts (the wheels) will help as well.

Also, if you normally engage the parking brake, then it may not be fully releasing in the colder temps. One way to tell is to feel both back wheels after driving a mile or so. One or both of them will feel warm/hot if it's sticking.

What is this winter blend deal? I wasn't aware that the fuel composition was different. I assumed it was becuase the car runs richer when its cold as to bring the temperature up to normal faster, thus burning more fuel.

ummm no
start and roll, to hell with warming anything up
Michigan
yea, maybe one or two, but not 7. filled with nitrogen, TPMS also. but its been checked
dont drive it in the snow. so thats out.
mileage in my 2000 5.0 AWD mountaineer doesnt change from summer to winter. i never check the "air pressure" and beat the **** out of it more in the winter than the summer, flat pedal at every light or stop sign in the winter. 18mpg no matter what.
so where are all the theorists now?

In Arizona the winter blend fuel has 10% ethanol in it. In the summer it is straight gas. Also in cold weather the air is more dense so more fuel is injected and mileage goes down. I lose about 2 mpg in the winter.
