At lunch today when I went to start up the car the trip odometer, gals used and miles till empty were all reset. This is before I cranked it over. Avg mph and avg mpg were still current. Radio still had presets and clock was still set correctly.

I did a quick search and didn't see anyone posting this item before.

That has happened to me once so far as well. Just once, hasn't happened again yet.

 

one wierd thing i noticed about the message center is when i bought the car it had 8 miles on it, and the salesman reset the trip odometer when he was going through how everything works. ok so since i have owned the car and driven 2300 miles, havent reset the trip odometer since the salesman did, and now there is over 70 miles difference instead of 8 like you'd think it should be since its never been reset!!! what could cause this?? is the trip odometer and the actual odometer take readings from different places like one uses the front tires and one uses the rear? maybe that would explain it cause im sure with all the burnouts it would be different...lol.

 

That happened to me a couple of times all in the same day. But it hasn't happened since.
