Manual transmission fluid?

32k on the car and thinking it's time to change the tranny fluid, car doesn't seem to shift as smooth as it used to. I did some searching and there was a lot of varying opinions, usually people recommending Mobil 1, Redline, or Royal Purple.

Anyone have any thoughts on the best synthetic transmission fluid to use for our 3650s?

I've had the Royal Purple in mine for about 40k miles and it's worked well. Quieted down my trans a bit.

I added Royal Purple and it quieted the trans down a little and the shifts are a bit smoother. I'm sure that Amsoil, Redline and Mobil would do the same.

I've been running the Purple stuffs sense about the 5k mark (@ 22k now) and I didn't notice much difference. I'm thinking I might try the Amsoil or Redline around the 25-30k mark, if I don't goto a 6spd first

Either the RP Synchromax or time (break-in) greatly improved the shifting of my TR. Since it doesn't grind when cold anymore (I can hardly believe it either,) I think the synthetic oil is a big help.

Not cheap, but I'd use it again.
