Hey all -
Well as promised I have shot some video of both exhausts. I really can't say which one I like better. Here are a few points about each exhaust system.
1. Magnapaks seem to have a more deeper sound than SLP's, even at WOT.
2. SLP's are definitely louder, especially at WOT.
3. Magnapaks and the SLP's both have drone around 1900-2000 rpms; Magnapaks seem to have more drone than the SLP's and the SLP's seem go away fairly quick.
4. I like the looks of the SLP's tips much better than the Magnapaks.
5. SLP's cold start up's are extremely LOUD.
6. Magnapaks are deeper at crusing speeds than the SLP's.
Overall, I think the both are definitely an aggressive exhaust with great sound. SLP's are definitely more agressive than the Magnapaks. However, Magnapaks have a nice deep tone compared to the SLP's. You be the judge...

I want to hear a 5000 rpm rev with both of them. That will sell me on which one i will use. I like to hear some roar.
Plus with me if I had SLP's I would definately have a ticket by now. Thats why I need a quieter exhaust

I guess I am in the minority here.
I like the Magnapaks.
I am old and going deaf so I could be completely off my rocker.

You are not alone. A lot of people (my friends and some family) like the way the Magnapaks sounded better too. Not that they were more mellow but the fact that they had a deeper growl.
Go figure-

After 10,000 miles my magnapaks are a lot louder now than when I first installed them. I definately would not want anything louder, especially since my wife can hear me coming home from over a mile away.

Those SLP's sound kinda like the ones that I heard on a black GT yesterday. Way too much reverb I guess you can say. Not enough deepness when stepping on it and way too raspy

I have had my SLPs on for only a week now. I must admit, I do not like how loud they are on start up. Other than that, I think they sound pretty good.
My friend said it best the other day. He said it sounds like the old General Lee from the Dukes of Hazard.
Oh and YOU DO NOT NEED A TUNE FOR AN AXEL BACK KIT!

FireDragon - I have not got my car to the dyno yet. However, I would recommend a tune for any exhaust changes.

J-Stang, very nice vid....Very well done, Thank's!
I wish I could post a clip of my Magnapak's with JBA header's and off-road H-pipe... I get a lot of complement's on the sound. It's super loud, expecially at WOT!
