I am looking for a LOUD, throaty, deeptone exhaust.I think the SLP loudmouth just might be too annoying. How does the magnapack sound??At idle and going through the gears and WOT??Any installation problems?Did the tips line up well in bumper?Quality impressions?
thanks

The magnapaks work great, in my opinion. I upgraded to them from the regular magnaflows. Around 1900 rpm there is some drone, which does not bug me now that I am used to it. From the outside it has a great sound to it. Pretty loud but not overpowering. At WOT you will turn heads. I like the quality of them but I do have 1 pet peeve with them. The 4" tips. On the magnaflows, the 4 inch tip goes all the way to the muffler. On the magnapack, they have a 2 1/2" pipe coming out and then mounted the 4" tip to it. Normally that would not be a bad thing, but the tips are tooooooo short and from the side of the car you can tell that it is a 4" tip welded to a 2 1/2" pipe. If I don't get a ground effects kit, like the street scene one to cover this up I will most likely have the tips cut off and better ones welded on.

Yeah that tip thing is the only problem I see with the 'packs...
That would turn me off from them the most, maybe we should notify a Magnaflow rep about this and possibly have them offer different tip options GNN60GT500 is the rezident Magnaflow rep...
