Magnaflow X vs Bassani + Tune
Hey guys,
I used to have an 05 GT and on it I had a magnaflow X pipe and catback. Overall I was pleased with the setup, minus the fact that the magnaflows were very quiet. The system gained me good power and didn't need a tune.
Well, on my 08 all I have so far is the Bassani SS axle back. I'm looking to get another X pipe to make the car a bit louder and pick up a little tiny bit of fuel efficiency and power.
My question is, how does the Bassani fare compared to the magnaflow in terms of sound and power. I like the sound of the Magnaflow X. Is there any difference in pitch and volume between the two?
Will I need a tune with the Bassani X? I only have 900 miles and would like to wait till 5000 or so before tuning just in case my car has any inherent flaws I am not aware of. Don't want any warranty trouble.
What do you guys think?

I am running the Bassani X w/ High Flow Cats with Flowmaster A/T axlebacks and i personally love the sound. The x pipe made the car sound alot deeper! As for a tune, you do not need a tune to run the Bassani X pipe. And for warranty purposes, i dont think the dealer would really care about an X pipe seeing as my local dealer doesent. So, its up to you. Just my 2 cents!

I'm not worried about the warranty with a pipe, just a custom tune I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't be running too lean.
Has anyone here dynoed with the bassani x w/o a tune?
