I just installed my new Magna-Flow X-Pipe w/Cats. Took about 2 hours from start to finish including putting vehicle up on stands and removing from stands. Sounds excellent! Don't have any dyno numbers yet but will soon.

Had a slight fitment issue though. The two inlet pipes were too close together and wouldn't line up with the shorty header outlets. Had to spread inlet pipes about 1/2" to line up with header outlets. Also the bolt hole spacing on the flanges which bolt the inlet pipes to the studs on the header outlets were very tight on the studs. Holes should have either been father apart or drilled slighty larger to fit the studs easier. Also had to tweak hanger brackets on X-pipe to fit properly in mounting grommets. Now it fits as well as the factory H-pipe.

Let the vehicle run for about 20 minutes to burn off all the oil and allow the computer to relearn it's strategies as I had the battery cable disconnected. Hooked up my Predator - "NO TROUBLE CODES"

I also just had Magnaflow Cat Back Duals installed. Sure sounds nice when starting up not to mention those 3 1/2 inch tips. The mufflers are also very slim so they are basically hidden from view . Haven't heard what it sounds from outside. Noticeable noise in cabin especially during low gears, but smooths out during cruise. I have read where some posts indicate the sound is not loud enough, but I wouldn't want it any louder. Definately much noisier than stock V6 muffler. I also have a rattle coming from underneath somewhere and haven't isolated it yet. Getting GT rear bumper cover installed and will make final adjustments to exhaust and hopefully fix the rattle.

Dou think the fitment issue you encountered were due to the headers you have... I mean for those of use that have stock headers do you think we would have those same issues?

Do either of you guys get any drone or loud constant noise at highway speeds? I ask becasue my Bassani setup is way too loud for an everyday driver (or I might be too old ) and driving me crazy! Plus since the Bassani X-pipe/high flow cat install, I am getting rattles and error codes like crazy. When I punch it to merge on the highway, it is really, really loud. The drone is too much for me and when I level off at 70mph, the loud constant hum gives me a headache. No way to start your day at work (not to mention the hour drive with this sound to start at 6am). All I wanted was a slightly deeper and louder sound than stock. Next thing I knew...

I have not put many miles on my car since the magnaflows where installed, but I too was looking for the "deeper" sound, but it does appear louder than I expected but most of the "loud noise" occurs during take-off in lower gears (automatic). Once I'm up to speed, just a nice mellow sound. About error codes..where would they be displayed? I am getting a rattle, but it's when I'm over rough terrain so I suspect something just needs to be adjusted. I have a bumper cover due to arrive Friday and when we install that, we'll readjust the exhaust to line up with the two cutouts in the rear bumper and hopefully solve the rattle.

After I installed the Bassani X-pipes, the car was so much louder. I am getting knock sensor 1, knock sensor 2 and high fuel pressure error codes. Nothing was touched during installation except for the cats and o2 sensors. Can't figure that one out. I am about 90% sure I am going to go back to all stock (except for the headers) and see if I keep getting the error codes.

Yes the error codes I was referring to was in the engine PCM and there are none! No drone either. The fitment issue I was referring to was the X-Pipe. The distance between the inlet flanges was 1/2" narrower than the stock H-Pipe. The shorty headers had nothing to do with it.
