Has anyone confirmed these claims on a dyno? I see Steeda is advertising them for $449.95.

Todd , in years past , I would have said that Steeda would have ... Anymore , I'm not so sure ? Sorry I didn't get by Diablo on Wednesday , got caught up in a meeting at work. I see you still have the BBK throttle body listed as future mod , did you ask Scott about the tune ? The response by the guy later on , made sense to me ...

I have changed my mind on the throttle body. Could lead to more problems than I desire. Will let some others take the plunge first. Too many unanswered questions at this time.

I would certainly like to find out about the performance and sound volume (if any) increase.

The physical size of the Magnaflow cats are smaller than stock, so the volume should be increased, but probably not by much. However, the tone would change. It would probably sound smoother, and deeper.

Well, I had an x-pipe w/ high flow cats w/ flow's on my 2000GT. The sound increased dramatically from stock and was raspy, not deep rumble. Some do not like that sound, but I LOVED IT!!! I would like to repeat that sound now w/ my '05 but I do not know if the 3v will sound much different than the 2v.

What kind of X pipe was it? Magnaflow X pipes have been known to not be very raspy, becasue of the design. Other brand of X pipes which are simply 2 pieces of pipe welded together have been known to be much raspier.

Custom made to my car. I guess that would explain the noise difference. Does the fact that the o2 sensors are in the cans themselves one cannot have them after the cats? Could I have a custom x-pipe w/ high flow's for this car w/ the sensors behind the cats?

Well I have the bassani comp cats, xpipe, and the axle backs and it is awesome. very loud and raspy. I would like to here what the whole set up under magnapak would sound like. That Xpipe/cats steeda has looks basically like the stock piece I have sitting in my utility room. I dont know if its worth it, but I guess you wont know till you try it. But definitely cant be on the throttle at all when passing cops around here with the bassani set up, also with the bassani comp cat/xpipe set up, it is all seperate pieces, including off road pipes with o2 sensor locations, in case you want to swap out the cats to the off road pipes. Very loud, when throttle is on at all. Especially at take off. On the highway really not to bad, or as far as the drone goes.
