Can someone with a MagnaFlow muffler take a measurement for me? I need to know the distance from the muffler itself to the end of the tip, preferrably the top of the tip. I found some really nice tips on eBay and want to make sure they're the correct length (9"). The factory tips are 9" from the muffler to the top of the tip. Thanks!

MTAS - I have the MagnaFlow axle back and from end of muffler to TOP of tip it is just shy of 7" (6 3/4 - 7"). I have the dual wall 4" tip that came with the set. It's pretty much all tip from muffler out (no piping to speak of). If your 9" has at least 2 - 2 1/2"s of piping then you can probably cut it off and still have a fit??

MTAS - you might want to check with MagnaFlow about the 4 x7"s that come on the axle/cat back kits - the 4" just fills the rear fascia cutouts while leaving enough space so it doesn't melt....the 4.5 might be too big for the cutouts???
