My future Brother-in-law just ordered a new Camaro SS2 RS (what ever that is).. and I was asked by the future inlaws not bring the GT around when he gets it.. so I don't embarrass him after he just dropped over 40k on a OBAMAmotors POS.

I've jumped on only one and I pulled it about a car or so from about 70-130 kick. He was pissed. Still had the dealer tag on it! Best take it back and get a real car. Now since I've got my cams for some reason the new camaros don't seem to want to race me. LMAO

Ha! I've wanted to get that same exact picture since I put that sticker on my side mirror. Unfortunately, I don't see that many Camaros in my area, and not at a good time to try to line it up to take a picture. Nicely framed picture. Well done!

I would not doubt it. I have not really looked into the new camaro very deeply, so I am not sure. It did have dual exhaust, but I was not really looking too hard at the badging. I just figured folks would dig my new favorite pic! Time to hunt down an SS for the same type of pic. hmmm I think I will start a collection!!!

the SS might be a 12.9 out of the box at sea level on a perfectly prepped track, on the best of multiple passes... but that is magazine bench racing BS imho.

I don't care if it was a V6 with a little old lady driving it. Let's see. 2 hands on the wheel...1 hand on the gearshift...and 1 hand on the cameraphone!! I am truely impressed and really feeling old because I would have been happy with 2 hands on the wheel and just turning my head to look out of the rearview mirror!!!

Throw a supercharger on it (Z28) and I bet it's in the 11s easily even hauling that extra weight. The Camaro is the reason Ford pushed the 5.0 out so quickly so we should be thankful. It will be interesting when the two of them go at it later this year. These are good times for muscle cars.
