Well after a ton of research on different exhaust, I have narrowed it down to these two. Without showing too much bias, please give me your opinion, especially if you have heard both in person. I plan on ordering one of these two today, so the quicker I can get some feedback, the better. FWIW I will be getting the Pypes H pipe here in the near future (just in case that makes a difference in your suggestion). Thanks for the advice.

Go with the Borla/FRPP. No question in my opinion.

I have the mac exhaust......if you like it really loud go with mac. I like the sound and the noise from the mac's.

If you want a more conservative sound borla is the way to go. In addition, Borla has a higher quality and longer warranty.

From the clips that I've heard of both, I would go for the Borla.

Well my friend has the macs on his car...I have the frpp but my car isnt in yet so I cant say how it sounds. I would think the frpp would be louder than the macs due to the can size...the macs have a much bigger one so I would think its not as loud. Both have 4" tips

You can't beat the sound of the Borla's. I have had them for about 6 months and although a little pricey you can't go wrong with them. I am pondering adding an offroad H- pipe but am concerned it will be way to loud. Anyone running Borla's with a O/R H-pipe?

Yeah I'd love to hear it with that....
I think its loud enough for me ... personally...

The FRPP mufflers are the exact same thing...and cheaper...
Can't miss

I just changed from Flowmanter to FRPP/Borla and really like the Borla better than the Flowmasterd.

I ended up ordering the Pypes H-pipe and Mac's from brenspeed today. The H-pipe will be here tomorrow (holy fast batman). Assuming another couple days for the Mac's. Doesn't really matter though since my car won't be here until the 16th of January. I have a pretty nice digital dvd video camera so I will post it (if someone tells me how) with a before and after comparison. I remember brent saying his sound clips were done with a digital camera (not dvd i'm guessing) so hopefully the sound quality will be a bit better for those that are curious.

I have the Macs and I cant stand the drone between 1800 and 2000. That is my only complaint.

I am pretty sure that someone said that the h pipe actually helped to reduce the drone a bit with the mac's. I'll be getting 4.10's installed in the spring anyways so the drone shouldn't be a problem. I actually like droning though.

Well it seemed that the FRPP/Borla was an overwhelming choice by the people who responded. Why did you go with the Mac?

BTW Borla was my choice also.

I think the main reason I went with the Mac's was that most people said that it was a little louder than the borlas. Like a low rumble louder. Others also suggested that the Mac's would sound better with the h-pipe. I should be getting the Mac's in this week (already got the h-pipe) and my car is scheduled to be here the week of 1/16, so I will get a comparison video together of the stock vs mac. Brent @ brenspeed said the camera he used wasn't the greatest, so hopefully my camera will do a bit more justice for sound purposes. I will keep you updated.
