I had this welded in since I didn't want to clamp it - a local muffler shop did it for me. On first start up, I noticed that the car is defnitely quiter, since the Chamber itself is kind of like a muffler, and the tone is a tad deeper and the pops are a littls subdued, but still present. Performance wise, and it may be psychological, but the car does seem to breathe easier as the revs climb. Next step - Hooker AeroChamber axle back kit
