Lost X-Cal 2
Lost X-Cal 2
Actually it was stolen. I was in and out of the car all evening and evidently did not lock it before retiring for the night.
The thieves made of with my X-cal2, which was in the console, and all my cigarette butts. The funny thing, if there is a funny thing, is that the X-cal is pretty much useless to anyone else, and they did not take the radar detector mounted on the windshield with suction cups. Crack-heads aren't all that bright, are they?
So anyways what's done is done and now moving forward... the X-cal can be replaced, but how do I get a "stock" tune back on the car if I need it? I presume I'll need the stock tune in order to get a new X-cal to work.
and yes, I will be checking all the local pawn shops

Bummer.
The only way that I know of to get it right is to have your dealer flash it.
I've seen SCT supply stock tunes in situations like yours. The new tuner will think your existing tune is stock, and replace it with the actual stock tune SCT supplies. It's backwards but it works.
