When is it necessary to take your car to the dealer to keep the warranty current?
I don't take it to the dealer unless I have too but I think you have to take it at specific mileage intervals.

I don't believe that you really have to ever go to the dealership for service. I never do, or unless one of my cars is in for warranty work, then I'll have them do an oil change or whatever is needed while it is there. Never have had an issue with it.

I have the Owner's Guide and Scheduled Maintenance Guide in .pdf format on my website, so if you would like, you can download them from there.

My webpage is www.2006-Mustang-GT.com

From my homepage, click on "S197 Guides, Manuals & Information", and you will find them there. Hope this helps!

I have free oil changes and tire rotation so I take it to the dealer. They like to see it come in so they can check out my latest mods.

I totaled my 05, GT 5 speed 6 weeks ago and will ship you the manual if you PM me your address. My 06 GT 5speed should be in in a week or two now. Get this, the car had 18000 miles as a commuter car and the ins co gave me $125 more than the STICKER price AFTER the $500 deductible was taken out. I was grinning like a possum eatin' sh_t!! Doc
