For those who own a Diablo or SCT Tuners for their GT please provide the name/source of the stock tune file and then list any modifications and experience with the after effects of what was changed.

Lets build an achive so we may have a better chance at minimizing our need to resort to the approved network of Diablo or SCT Tuners.

Come on people, post some tunes.

Im using a JLT CAI without the DTP tune since I havent received it yet due to the long weekend. I used the C&L tune for temp easy driving.

C&L 91 Octane Tune / -2 points (more rich) on both the 0-4000RPM and 4000-7000RPM at WOT / No CEL for the JLT CAI-C&L tune combo

What has anyone done to make the shifts feel more firm, is it as simple as just increasing the MPH for the Upshifts?

I've got the C&L Intake and Diablo tune, using the 91 octane tune with the global spark dialed back -2 so I can run 89 octane. Haven't had a single problem with it, and love the way it reacts.

There was a link posted for this earlier but I am not sure where, but if you go to the C&L website they tell you how to make the adjustment.

Intake: Mac Straight Shot
Exhaust:stock
Mufflers: None
Tuner: Diablo Predator w/ r.21 Update
Altitude above sea level: 2740 feet
Base Tune: Steeda Cai
Changes to tune: richened fuel througout RPM range by 4 points, retarded spark by two points (so it will run crappy 91 octane Arizona fuel) rev limiter moved to 6500 rpm, speed limiter disabled, adjusted speedo to account for 4.10 rear gears.

Reset computer, and air/fuel ratio is a steady 13/1 pretty much all the time.

93 octane tune, is that the one available on the diablosport site? I could have sworn when I downloaded and installed that tune it said 91 octane...maybe I was was seeing things. I know I installed the custom tune and not the stock 91 octane one. I guess I'll have to check tomorrow.....er today

EDIT: I just checked out my Predator that I got with my C&L intake, it does not boot up with the C&L logo. Should it? The tuner is at v.8r21.

Has anyone received any word about the actual rev limit of the engine? I would really want to know what the valvetrain can handle since its most likely the weakest part of this engine. Basically I want to know when those valves float.

I wouldnt suggest just anybody play test a tune after increasing their rev limit to 7000 rpm though.

Its great to spin to 6500 btw.

On another note... Couldnt the Predator also be able to pull the tune from a Saleen modified PCM for their blower kit and sent to a Diablo Tuner for some base work?

I got the Steeda CAI /w SCT tune. I don't have a clue what Steeda changed or didn't change with this tune. All I can say is that it runs like a scalded dog with no lights flashing on the dash so far (knock on wood).

No the tuner isnt C&L specific - You down loaded the tunes from the site. The C&L tune that doesnt show a octane rating is the 93 octane tune

I'm running the JLT CAI w/ DTP premium tune, Xcallibrator +1 to global timing, +1 to idle A/F, +1 to mid A/F, +2 to WOT A/F, move rev limiter to 6500, speed limiter to 165. I upped to fuel to be safe as I hve not dynoed yet. I have been running this tune for over 2 months and it ROCKS! I have bumped the rev limiter (6500) once by accident and no valve float, I bet she will rev past that but the power is decreasing after 6000 so with out other mods to make power above that it is not desireable.
