List of mods to be done

I have had my 05 for about a month now and I am about to begin with some basic mods. I would appreciate any info/feedback from those that have already done these.

So far I already have the Flowmasters.

Here goes:
1. SCT Xcal 2 tuner (already have a CAI waiting to go on and it will be tuned on a dyno)

2. 4.10 gears -- going on same time as CAI & tune

3. Hurst competition Short throw Shifter

Figure that once I get these done then I can start on the suspension mods.

Does this sound like a good plan so far?

Thanks

Do yourself a favor if you havn't already....

Get a Helmsinc service manual and a basic set of tools

Do all the mods you can yourself and save some cash!!!

The gears obviously aren't an at home install unless you've done it before.

Intake/tune and gears are the two most noticeable improvements you can make to your car, other than going with a supercharger. You're on the right track!

Do most that I can myself already. Gears will be one by my shop up in DC area next time I get up there. They are the ones that isntalled my s/c on my old 04 V6 so I trust them to do the dyno tune.

I was thinking of also getting one of these --
BMR Anti-Roll Bar Eliminator/tubular radiator support

Figure I can shave about 20+ pounds from the front of the car. Any comments about these? are they really worth it?

Nice list. By the looks I guess you are out to do some drag racing?

Daily driver with the occasional run down the track

Well street handling will suffer somewhat w/o the front sway bar. The car will tend to want to go more to or right into oversteer, otherwise great for drag racing. For drag racing you might want to consider an even stiffer rear bar.

skip the hurst and get the pro 5.0. the hurst has too many issues. more people have problems with them then dont.

plus you can get the superior pro 5.0 shifter and still have the hurst look. i have the pro 5.0 shifter and just bolted a hurst shift stick and ball to it. no modification necessary.
