Koni Production Delay, PT. II

Team Mustang Source
I used chalk to see if the tires are rolling. I marked up to the tread and the it was still there after the run. Im running on 9.5" wide rims with 255/45/18. I know those tires aren't wide enough for those rims but I'm going to burn them up more before I go to a 275.
What do you guys think a good alignment would be for a street/autocross setup. I don't drive the car to work every day, I have a focus for that. I only play with the mustang on weekends and race it.

Good news, bad news... which do you want first???
Good news is I found out what the hold up is. Apparently there is an issue with the swaybar mounting bracket being out of specifcation and Koni Holland is fighting with the supplier over it. Koni-NA is doing their level best to make Koni Holland get something done. So it's not like we're being ignored, and it's really because Koni won't build the struts with a part they feel is not up to scratch.
The bad news, ETA is now (****-it).... January.
Back in the good news column... Those of you with struts on backorder will be sure to get them when they come in. They have no excuse to underestimate the numbers that are already on order.
I know, not the news you wanted to hear, and not the news I wanted to hear (or give). But I thought I owed it to my customers who have been more than understanding to pass along the word I just got.

I'd happily take the delay for the reason Koni is stating. They're being a responsible company and assuring their product is everything they say it is. Thumbs up to Koni.

I guess it's better than the alternative (though some don't think so who've been screaming on the 'net about it). I'd rather it just get fixed, just like everyone else--but it's better than having any issues!
