JPC & bogart
this is an addendum to my posts about the issues concerning my wheels, JPC and bogart.
in no way did i want to imply seriously that JPC ( justin's performance center) was intentionally trying to hold my order. sometimes feelings and emotions can be misinterpreted. i hope no one on this forum got the wrong impression about my posts regarding my wheels. it is hard to look at a post and know what tone of voice and the state of mind that is present when someone is writing.
i will explain the entier situation just to clear it up.
nov. 30 i order wheels from JPC; dec. 1 bogart is contacted by JPC; dec 12 bogart starts processing the order; mid january front wheels arrive; feb 7 rear wheels arrive; feb 8 all wheels picked up and are perfect.
Mr Bogart personally called me to appologize for the wait and took full responsibility for the delay in order processing and manufacturing. i assured him that i was not angry just concerned about time since i plan on attending the NMRA race in march. richard is a great guy and makes a wonderful product. my wheels are absolutley bad hiney!
my sincerest appologies go out to everyone at JPC for any misunderstanding that came from my previous posts.
i will be at bradenton with my wheels and happily displaying JPC and bogart stickers on my car. i will continue to use JPC for my products and tech advise because justin, derik and the guys are extremely knowledgable and helpful.

no pics yet still haven't decided on tire sizes but i'm thinking 26x12.5 et streets and m/t 26" fronts.
you will definitely want to call JPC and talk to them directly because bogart did have a price increase this year. they went up like 15-20% i think. pretty sure i was the last order that got the old price.
i will post some pics when i get them on. anybody else have the welded r/t's? if so post a pics please and tell me your tire sizes. thanks!
don, so far they fit fine but the rear sway bar bracket does need to be moved. i'll order the bmr sway bar relocation kit for it this week. we are making a set of lift bars for it also. they resemble the comp. eng. ones for GM coil spring cars. will allow me to set pinion angle + preload for strait launches. should have it done next week also. i'll post pics of that too.

Ron, what size are the rears, and what is the backspacing on them?
Thanks for clearing that up Ron. You are a stand up guy and we appreciate your business. thanks justin! by the way, where the heck did you get a hitch for a mustang? oh and i forgot the brake line fittings also. my line locs are standard 1/8" NPT threads. if i have to i'll change it over to braided lines. i would like to access the lines right at the abs box under the hood if possible but i'm not sure after looking at it that there is enough room, either way i'll pick all of it up at same time. sorry and thanks again!
don,
fronts are 15x4 and rears are 15x10 the backspacing is....all of it
about 7.5" best i can tell. weld does make a set of 15x10 with 7.5 backspace but when you factor in the spacer required to clear the caliper you will only have about 6.75" of backspace. it doesn't sound like much but depending on the tire size it can start looking froggy.

To be legal at the track he would. I felt better about the studs anyways. The stockers would sit about flush with the face of the wheel. I ran on the front ones once or twice, but didn't take long to change em out!
It was nice to read your RE: Ron.
I consider you one of our better customers and I'm glad to hear that you're satisfied and pleased. It's nice to know that the vicious circle, we call the performance industry, has been illustrated to you by one of the industry's finest, first-hand.
As I explained over the telephone, it's not always our fault entirely. Often the manufacturer has hold-ups that makes us appear to be incompetent. As in this case, which regretfully is out of our control. We submitted the order and they had orders that were still being completed at the time of our order placement. Fortunately, Rich knocked your order out in a reasonable window of time and all is well!
I lQQk forward to continued business with you. We're only a phone call/e-mail away.

man i love hearing clutch cars launch! your car works really nice no bouncing or skating just a good straight run. makes the perfect bracket car. what's it going to take to get my auto in the 11's N/A? think it can be done with a stock long block? i'm hoping for mid-low 12's now.

It can be done but it will be a stretch... It won't be as easy as our 5-Speed.
You'll need slicks, light weight seats, remove some ballast and unnecessary components, a good converter, C-10, a good tune, suspension mod's completed, great weather, and a pass at Cecil Co.!!!!!

is the C-10 an unleaded fuel? octane? i have a VP dealer in my town. how much timing will it allow you to run? a/f ratio? how much difference in hp does that make on these cars going from a 93 tune to a race fuel tune?
i know jj will change timing and fuel curves for me if i need it.
