JLT True Cold Air Intake

Does anyone have any pics of the JLT True Cold Air Intake installed? I'd really like to see what this looks like.

Also, anyone have any opinions on this intake?

Thanks,
Kev

I consider the JLT and the tunes the best money I've spent to date on my car.

Here's a pic of mine. It's been on for a year without a hitch and gave me an increase of 19.5 hp on 87 octane with the standard JLT/SCT tune. That claim is backed up with dyno results. It's the best CAI buy on the market. This forum has a ton of members who have the JLT installed.

Hope this helps.

I read somewhere that the sheild sealed when the hood was closed but I cannot remember which system claims this. Does the JLT seal and is that necessarily a big advantage?

aircare84, I was really happy when I saw this because I ordered a torch red car. Did you paint the heat shield yourself or did it come that way? If it did come that way, where did you buy it? Brenspeed?

I think it's a great touch to have the heat shield match as well. Nicely done!

Thanks bigkbull,
I painted the tube & heatshield myself. You can buy them painted to match factory colors, believe it's around $40.00 extra.Mine was bright red spray paint, close enough for now under the hood.Next spring I'm gonna get a quart of Torch red & match it then.
