JLT+SCT install help please
on the 05-06 you do not need to disconnect the fuel pump or fan fuses. Just plug it in.....program and enjoy!
Dont worry about it, as mentioned, you do not need to do this. This was a generic instruction for older cars where I believe the fuel pump and fan drew a lot of energy or something when the car was turned to the ON position but not started? Someone correct me here.
Anyway, you dont have to do this on the 05+ Mustang. Just make sure that after you install the JLT intake, you tune it FIRST before you fire it up. My best advice is to go out to your car right now, and plug your SCT into your car to make sure it can read it. I had a problem with mine, I was one out of like 5 people that got a bad batch of SCTs that wouldnt read the car computer, and this was after I installed the intake. Doug at Bamachips overnighted me a brand new one which worked fine, and he got rid of those, but make sure beforehand. Enjoy!

The only reason why it would be required to remove fuse #3 (fan) and fuse #41 (fuel pump) is only if, you're battery is less than fully charged or is running low, otherwise it is not required to remove any fuses, for the 05-06 Mustangs..So don't worry about it...
