JLT paint

O any if you know how to paint the black elbow piece of the intake? I've only seen one guy attempt it at a local car show and it looked really faded due to engine heat I guess....

If your talking about the plastic intake tube. I primed mine with a filler primer to get it smooth them put on a basecoat & clearcoat. Been on about a year still looks good.

Sounds like he's talking about the rubber elbow that attaches the intake tube to the throttle body. Not sure if you can successfully paint rubber?

Sorry I forgot what the intake looked like lol... Yea I ment the plastic piece... I saw that the new jlt 3 is pre painted.... And gives u more power... That aggravates me :-(

Cool

Took me forever to sand the plastic smooth but it can be done
with really nice results. I did it to my Extreme intake:
