Well, I have had the JBA Cat4ward Shorty headers installed on the Stang (I went with Cat4ward Shorty headers because of emission testing)You can read about it, as well as see pics and 2 videos:
My Mustange Page.COM - Page 18 of 24
Pros:
- More rwhp, rwtq - numbers to come on 3/12
- Nasty sound above 3000RPM
- Volume
- JBA customer Service
- JBA quality
Cons:
- Cost to install
- Getting the correct set .
** There seems to be an older production set going around. They hit the block and steering linkage
For you guys that hate the fly by wire throttle. Pickup the Steeda Motor Mounts. With those installed ... you can feel ALL engine movement. You are now one with the car - just like the cable throttles we are used to.
If you have any Q's, set them here. I will try to answer any I can.

Glad to hear that the second set went better than the first ones. Now if we could just get the same type of customer service from RKSport we would be in good shape! Have you had any luck with contacting them yet? I have a bunch of pictures of the progress on mine if you need some backup.

Final Dyno results were not good.
Pricing :
- Headers----------$685
- Install-------------$540
- Motor Mnts-------$260
- Total--------------$1485
* Install would have normally been $200 less, but because the shop had to uninstall and reinstall the fixed drivers side headers, I was charged for it.
Total (Peak) Power:
- 3 rwhp
- 5 rwtq
Those numbers are horrible. However there is about a 12 rwtq gain in the lower-mid range that makes the care pull much harder to 6000RPMs.
Read the entire write - up here : My Mustange Page.COM - Page 18 of 24
* Dont forget to consider the Steeda Motor Mounts, ther really connect you with the throttle and seat of the pants feel of engine RPM's.

Good info for myself and a few other I'm sure....Can't see spending 1500 for those numbers....I can only assume that long tubes are making the 15+ hp that I've heard rumor about....sorry they didn't work out better...I was really surprised by it when they pulled it on Saturday....more good info from Bryan letting us know what works and what doesn't everybody.....

Thanks for the info, Bryan. I am definitely considering headers to add to my list. Gaining a few HP is good, but the sound is even better. By the way, your vids aren't working for me.

Yeah, I just figured out it's because of a pop-up blocker. And I don't have the authority to change security settings here at work. I'll watch them when I get home tonight though. Thanks.

I can see why you wouldn't gain much power..... look at the design of the stock headers. They are pretty close to shorty's anyways. MUCH better than the old 5.0 stock headers. These actually have direction and they are larger. Ford did a good job with the stockers I think.

I agree, Ford did a great job on the stocks I am actually considering upgrading to the Full Lenght tube headers - the only issue for me now is the install cost
