Intake and 93 tune???
Ok,
So I decided on getting a Bullitt Intake and a tune, but where I live, 93 is not an option. All i see for tuning is 87, 89 and 93 options. Has anyone else had this problem or will it just have to be a custom from bamachips or brenspeed?

Depends on where you get your tune. I got the Bullitt intake from Tillman along with three of their tunes, the 87 performance, 91 performance, and 91 street race. I just keep the 91 street race one on since 91 is the max we get in NorCal and it is very very good.

Cool, I forgot what thread it was on here, but I think I read that the race tune can be activated with the TCS button, is that possible. I remember my buddy had a 98 Grand Prix GTP that was chipped and the performance program would kick in when the Performance Shift button was pressed on the shifter.

Doug @ Bamachips can do a tune for 91 or 92 for you. He is a great guy and will take care of you. I have his tune in my car and love it. In another post I ran a 12.97 on stock street tires with his tune. (Of course mine is a 93 tune as well as other stuff also.) I wouls call or emial Doug @ Bmachips and he will tell you what he can do for you.

Thanks guys, I'm planning on getting this done within the next month. From everything I've read, Intakes and tunes on these cars turn them into different animals. I haven't been in one with a tune yet but I do plan on getting a ride in one soon.

If the person allows you to drive their tuned car, you will not be able to order the intake and tune fast enough. When I first did my install, I actually drove mine with Chris from Tillman on the phone to ask questions. I was giggling like a school girl and just couldn't believe the difference. I was hesitant to go with an aftermarket tune and was worried about problems or excessive wear on the engine. Once the tune was installed, I never looked back. It really wakes up the car.

My girlfriend is already afraid of what I may becoming. My initial giggling fits from going from a "200" horsepower intrepid to a V8 5Speed mustang was almost unbearable for her. The intake and tune will be the next progression. On the plus side I'm getting an exhaust system from my mom and dad for Xmas. Yay for boom tubes!!!!
