Installing the SLP Loudmouth exhaust
#21
Don't pay anyone to do it. You don't need to jack the car up, just need some old clothes you don't mind laying on the ground in a 1/2 and a 9/16 or 5/8 (forget so grab both). It is way too simple to throw any money away to have it done, heck if ya lived close I'd it with my own tools for a 6 pack.
They sound bad hiney btw.

Any benefits to having the new mufflers welded on as opposed to just clamped on? I was going to have my shop weld my Flowmasters on for $70 when they came in but now I'm starting to think I should just go the clamp route and do it myself...

I had my SLP loudmouth installed and it cost $60.00 dollars. It only took the mechanic about 15 minutes to install. I would not pay any more than that. You should also shop around to see if any exhaust techs in your area have worked on an 05 exhaust. They will be able to make a quick install and give you the best price. The SLP sounds awesome and CONGRATS!!
