Just ordered my Borla Stinger (S-Type) Axle-Back which should be here in about a week.

I haven't thrown the car up on my ramps yet but did any of you guys run into any trouble taking off the old mufflers and installing the new ones??

Fairly straightforward?

I know its just a clamp and some hangers but I figure I'd ask anyway.....

Thanks,

Dan

its really easy. 8 bolts, 4 per side. Only tip I have is to make sure you take note of where the brackets that the hangers slide into are attached to on the car before you take them off...I couldnt remember at first ;p

and be sure to overtighten the clamps as I thought mine were plenty tight and one side came loose the next day......I had the muffler shop use their air tools to tighten and amazing how much more they were able to torque the nuts down!!

Pretty straight forward. I received a early set of magnaflows and the nothces were off and one of the mufflers did not have complete welds. Of course, I found this out once I had taken one of the stock ones off.
As they say - Check Twice!

I have asked this before but never got an answer...
I'm planning on having my Flowmasters welded on by my shop. Is there any benefit to this or should I just bolt them on like the stock ones?

No benefit as far as I'm concerned - actually it may be a drawback - you can't take them off then if you decide to sell the car or something...
