I installed a MAK Performance offoad x-pipe today. It is 2.5" mandrel bent aluminized steel and is of good quality. The welds and bends looked professional. It took me about 1 and 1/2 hours from start to finish on my friends lift with air tools. I took my time and made sure I lined everything up, so there was no chance of leaks. The installation might be kind of difficult on jack stands in the driveway. Thank god for my friend. The only problem I found was that the left bank 02 bung was slightly in a different place. I have to cut a wire tie to get more slack in order to make the 02 sensor reach. Overall, it was very easy to install.

Sound: The car sounds AWESOME. I am running the stock mufflers and there is very little drone at speed. I tested it at various speeds btwn 60-80 and it was fairly quiet. Under WOT, this thing is loud. It sounds like a classic Mustang.....Throaty and mean.

Performance: I can feel a slight boost in performance, especially up top. The car chirps into third a bit harder and pulls a bit quicker. I would say that I gained about 10 whp per my butt dyno

I also checked for codes via my Predator and none were found. I am still thinking about dyno tuning the car because the A/F ratio might not be ideal. If anyone knows how an Off-road pipe effects that, please let me know.

Cool,I just ordered the same from them off Ebay.Just stinks if i decide headers later.Dont think they will bolt together.

It'll work with shorty headers, but not with long-tubes.

Cool! So it just takes the place of the stock cats and hpipe? You still using the stock mufflers? Got any pics?

Sorry I was out of town for the weekend. I paid 199 for it plus shipping. The exhaust does sound a bit raspy, but it's a great sound. The exhaust is quiet on the highway and loud under WOT. This is IMO the perfect setup for a daily driven stang.

I do have some pics, but haven't uploaded them. I will try and get them uploaded sometime later in the week.
